As you will know, in its interim report, the CMA found that the 21st Century Fox takeover of Sky would give the Murdoch family too much control over news providers and therefore too much influence over public opinion and the political agenda. Unless you have cast iron guarantees* that the Murdochs will not be able to exert any influence over Sky News, we urge you to block the merger.
